DURAND, Mich. – Chevrolet has announced the pricing options for the 2017 Corvette Grand Sport, which will go on sale this summer. The new model will be priced at $66,445. With “heritage-inspired design cues,” customizable color options, and impressive track performance, this is sure to be a crowd pleaser.
Design
The 2017 Grand Sport is designed to be reminiscent of its predecessors, a legacy that began in 1963. Besides just looking cool, the car is designed to be lightweight and aerodynamic. Some optional packages include the downforce-producing aerodynamics package and enhanced cooling package. Additional exterior elements include front fender inserts, Z06 style grille, wider fenders, and rear quarter panels.
Customizable color options
The Grand Sport is fully customizable inside and out. With ten exterior colors to choose from, everyone can find the best option to personalize their style. A collector’s edition will be available later in the year, highlighting the Watkins Glen Gray Metallic exterior color palette, and the exclusive Tension Blue full leather and suede interior.
Performance
Thanks to the aerodynamic design of the Grand Sport, the track performance is unprecedented. It is estimated to offer 1.05g in cornering capability, 0-60-mph in 3.6 seconds, and quarter-mile capability in 11.8 seconds reaching 118 mph. It also features an updated version of the Brembo braking system from the previous Corvette Z06.
