DURAND, Mich., – Chevrolet is excited to announce its new partnership with the Recreational Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) and the National Association of Trailer Manufacturers (NATM) to bring customers a safer trailering experience.
Chevy, the RVIA, and the NATM, are aware that customers who are towing trailers want a more integrated towing experience, and intend to bring customers exactly what they're looking for by
improving trailering safety and standards.
With input from industry leading associations with extensive experience in the field of towing and trailering safety, Chevrolet will work to develop technologies to increase safety and provide new towing features. As well as safety and integration, new technologies will also increase ease of use for trailer owners, and alert owners of trailer tampering or theft.
“Safety and ease of use are key considerations for families that use RV trailers,” Bruce Hopkins, RVIA vice president, Standards, said. “We’re pleased to partner with Chevrolet and NATM on this project to create a safer, simpler and easier towing experience.”
