General Motor customers, prepare yourselves for the greatness that is the next-generation 2016 Chevrolet Malibu. Chevrolet designers took on the new design with a "blank slate" approach, where they created an all-new architecture for the Malibu and featured things like a longer wheelbase, increased rear legroom, and increased interior space. Chevy also shaved a generous 300 pounds off of the Malibu by using a higher-strength steel structure. This lighter and slimmer structure will offer drivers better fuel-economy, handling, and responsiveness while out on the road.
On the outside of the 2016 Malibu we can expect to see a more bold and sophisticated look. The Malibu's roofline has been stretched rearward, the front wheel have been moved forward, and the front and rear overhands have been reduced. While no photos have been released just yet, we do know that the 2016 Chevrolet Malibu is equipped to deliver more efficiency, connectivity, and advanced safety features than we have ever seen before.

ReplyDeleteI haven't been much of a Chevy fan, but really like the specs on the new Malibu. I really appreciate how Chevy took a blank slate approach with the 2016 as you outlined in your blog. I would assume the changes will pay dividends to all parties.
