Our great state has a lot to offer once the snow clears and after being cooped up inside all winter, it's time to take advantage of it. Now there's a strong chance that writing of this blog will evoke some kind of weather karma and earn us another huge blizzard or two, but we still suggest you read the (probably too early) list of things to do in Michigan this spring!

Run a 5k

Winter has a tendency make us a little more sluggish and inactive, so start your spring with a healthy change by taking up a running regimen. You can set yourself an achievable goal by signing up for one of the many 5k's  There's even "Couch-to-5k" training routines you can do to get yourself ready to for the big race!

Play Disc Golf

Disc golf is one of the hottest new sports activities sweeping the nation, and the best part is it's that difficult to pick up! Use it as an excuse to get outside and you'll be surprised how quickly you'll be hooked! There are even competitive leagues you can join all around the state.
