DURAND, Mich.– Built with high strength steel and eye-popping design, there should be no doubt in your mind that the Chevrolet Silverado the highest performing truck of its segment, and Chevy takes measures to ensure the pickup stays on top.

Since introducing an all-new Silverado 1500 in 2013, Chevy has been keen on updating its popular pickup each model year, and the results are staggering. Since 2013, Chevy pickup sales have skyrocketed by 14.6 percent through June 2015, and with pickup sales up by 32 percent for the current model year, Chevy is out to prove its trucks are the best with some astounding 2016 Chevrolet Silverado updates to help drive pickup sales.

Much like the 2016 Camaro and the 2016 Impala, the 2016 Silverado will deliver design, performance and technology upgrades on a silver platter to Chevy customers, including:

  • A more robust, powerful looking design that moves away from the 2015 Silverado’s boxy look
  • Expanded use of the Silverado’s 8-speed transmission
  • Innovative safety technologies
  • Android Auto and Apple CarPlay capability

Unfortunately, Chevy hasn’t released any further details about the 2016 Chevrolet Silverado updates to help drive pickup sales, but Chevy will debut the 2016 Silverado this fall and all will be revealed.
